Watta Ryde

Selene 98 Ocean Explorer

The contemporary and comfortable interior of the motor yacht “Watta Ryde” is the result of the co-work between the team of Guido de Groot Design and her owners. The result is a beautiful functional and practical interior clearly reflecting her owners’ personality.
The abundance of natural light is brought inside effortlessly by the big windows and portholes on board the yacht which have a big impact on the natural, airiness and uncluttered feeling of the interior.

The main wood on board is walnut which has been used for walls, cabinets and ceiling borders. The feeling of the wooden walls is constantly broken by the insertion of light upholstery panels which accentuate the quietude and comfort of the interior. Another wood to be found on board is mahogany that has been used for several cabinets but also for the planking flooring.

Several contrasting materials have been used such as white Carrara marble, both real and synthetic leathers for cabinet surfaces, door inserts and wall and ceiling panelings. Accents with brushed stainless steel elements are giving the finishing touch to the interior.
