Project Berlin

Construction has started at the Van der Valk Shipyard of a 30-metre custom aluminium yacht designed inside out by Guido de Groot Design called “Project Berlin”. This modern raised pilothouse yacht, which features purposeful and dynamic lines, offers the space and comfort of a larger superyacht while staying under the 24-metre regulatory threshold, offering the best of both worlds.

The design evolved from earlier studies exploring modern interpretations of the raised pilothouse concept. Key features include an adjustable swimming platform, aft garage, spacious saloon, the raised pilothouse area, and a large forward owners’ suite. The yacht represents an upgrade for owners transitioning from a production vessel to a custom build.
