Sister Act

Just as in life, yacht family get-togethers don’t happen all that often, but in mid-July two spectacular new Van der Valk yachts yachts cruised in company in the North Sea. Sisters via common ancestry with the award-winning, innovative 34-metre tri-deck explorer Lady Lene, both the 35-metre LALABE and 34-metre ONE highlight the custom-building ethos that lies at the core of the Van der Valk shipyard.

Moreover, just as LALABE was headed to her new owners, and ONE is offered for sale – representing an exceedingly rare opportunity to jump the queue and take swift delivery of a Dutch masterpiece in time for some serious summer cruising.

provided the base for both LALABE and ONE, each yacht has been tailored to the requirements of her owner and each is fully custom from the waterline up. Guido de Groot worked on the exquisite exterior designs for both yachts, with each displaying a unique profile and space layout but with both offering hints of shared provenance through subtle style cues.
